The new extended warranty is effective immediately and applies to loudspeakers purchased on or after January 1 2016. “We have great confidence in the quality of our loudspeakers. They have proven to be extremely reliable and problem-free. Our customers are incredibly loyal so rewarding that loyalty by extending the warranty was an easy decision. – PreSonus Director of Customer Services Alex Tinsley. Guitar Interactive Magazine Review The AIR active loudspeaker series is the latest addition to PreSonus live sound line-up and consists of three active loudspeakers and two active subwoofers. PreSonus is probably far better known for its range of microphone pre-amplifiers audio interfaces and digital mixers than it is for sound reinforcement products but the companys commitment to live sound reinforcement has seen them build up an impressive product roster in this area. Using a Class A/B-Class D hybrid system gives you the best of both worlds- Class A/Bs ability to deliver clear highly-detailed midrange and treble and Class Ds ability to deliver high levels of bass power without the weight penalties inherent in high-power Class A/B. Even with advanced Presonus manufacturing techniques, it isn’t possible to automate the production of great instruments like this PreSonus AIR15S Active PA Subwoofer. The complexity of the task, combined with the need for constant awareness of the materials being used and the ability to adjust for minute variations, means that there is no substitute for the skill and sensitivity of experienced craftspeople.
Turning designs into great instruments isn’t easy. Technical drawings can’t convey the intended tone of an instrument, or the construction methodology required to create the desired characteristics and sound. Before building a new guitar can begin, the plans and intentions of the designers are discussed with the craftspeople at the factory in order to develop an appropriate production process. Every guitar is different, and coming up with the ideal production methodology and workflow for each guitar is critical.
